A Celebration of Love and Family ✨
Some birthdays call for something a little different. Instead of a wrapped present or a dinner out, Mohamed gave Tanja the gift of feeling truly celebrated. He organised the sweetest couple and family shoot, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
We began the session at the Martini Suite inside the heritage-listed Majorca Building in Melbourne’s CBD. With its charm, character, and old-world beauty, it set the stage for portraits that felt timeless and elegant. Tanja absolutely shone in the space, and you could see how much it meant to her to be captured with love on her special day.
From there, we wandered through the heart of the city and down Degraves Street. The mix of textures, colours, and energy created such a fun contrast to the softness of the suite. The family laughed, held close, and simply enjoyed being in the moment together.
What struck me most throughout the shoot was the thoughtfulness behind it all. Mohamed knew Tanja didn’t need anything extravagant for her birthday. She just needed to feel beautiful, seen, and surrounded by the people she loves most. And that’s exactly what this shoot was about — creating memories that they’ll hold onto for years to come.
